| Why is the tribe of Dan absent in Revelation 7? | ||
(June 2011)
The tribe of Dan is not mentioned in Revelation 7:5-8, within the twelve tribes of Israel list. Why? Answer: Dan turned completely against YHWH and is an idolater. In Deuteronomy 29:18-21, YHWH expressly stated that if any TRIBE would completely turn away from YHWH and serve other gods, YHWH would place every curse upon them written in the covenant and blot-out their name from under heaven.
Deut 29:18-21 reads,
As you'll see from the presented scriptures and factual information below, Dan has been botted-out.
THE DANITES ARE BELIEVED TO HAVE BECOME THE VIKINGS The entire tribe of Dan rejected YHWH and worshipped idols. They became a ship-faring tribe who left the land during the time of the Judges. The Danites are believed to have become the ship-faring Vikings. The DANites left their name wherever they went. (Biblical examples: Judges 18:12,29) The name DAN is found in many parts of the world in conjuction with the Vikings. One example out of numerous is: The DANube River. Another example is as shown in the photograph below.

THE DANES BROUGHT CHRISTMAS INTO CHRISTIANITY The DANish people (know as the DANes of Denmark or Danmark - a legitimate alternative spelling) are tribal descendants of the Vikings. (There are more.) According to Wikipedia, the Catholic church "had to adopt" the Christmas holiday (known as Jul at that time) in order to convert the Danish people. Consequently; truth be told, it was the tribe of Dan that was the direct cause of this said pagan holiday infiltration into Christianity.
The Online Encyclopedia, Wikipedia (under Danes) reads as follows:
SUMMARY The tribe of Dan went into apostasy and has not repented. They turned their back on YHWH, worshipped idols, and have brought their paganism into Christianity. YHWH expressly said in Deuteronomy 29:18-21; if any man, woman, family, or TRIBE's heart turns away from Him and worships/serves other gods, He would blot-out their name. (Again, Ref: Deut 29:18-21) The Danites were obviously blotted-out in the book of Revelation in chapter 7. (Note: the book of Revelation is a prophesy book, not the actual living book.) The name 'Dan' does not appear in the list of the "twelve tribes." Consequently, none of the Danites will live during the first resurrection period of time. None will be Spiritual Beings with Christ or physical beings that comprise the physical remnant after YHWH's wrath. Although, it is highly likely that the tribe of Dan will be resurrected at the second resurrection. (Ref: Ez 37) |
