The Seven Spirits and The Holy Spirit.
WHAT ARE THEY and WHAT IS THEIR RELATIONSHIP?

Personal study and written by Felicia A. Trecek
September 7, 2003 - October 27, 2003 | Revised November 7, 2003

Revelation 1:4 reads, "...Favor to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is coming, and from the seven Spirits that are before His throne."

Revelation 3:1 reads, "And to the messenger of the assembly in Sardis write, 'He who has the seven Spirits of Elohim and the seven stars, says this,' 'I know your works,..."

It is Messiah who holds the seven stars in his hand and they are the seven Messengers to the seven churches of Revelation (Reference Revelation 1:20). Messiah also possesses seven Spirits.

WHAT ARE THE SEVEN SPIRITS?
Revelation 4:5 reads, "...And seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of Elohim."

Revelation 5:6 reads, "...in the midst of the elders a Lamb standing, as having been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of Elohim sent out into all the earth."

According to Revelation 4:5 and Revelation 5:6, the seven spirits are the seven lamps of fire and also the seven eyes on the lamb. Before delving into the symbology of the seven Spirits, I will turn to Isaiah 11:1-3 where it reveals specifically what these seven Spirits are.

Isaiah 11:1-3 (v:2) reads, "The Spirit of YHWH shall rest upon Him (Messiah) - the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of fear of YHWH."

Are the saints given all of these seven Spirits listed in Isaiah 11:2 in addition to the Holy Spirit of YHWH upon baptism? Or, do the seven Spirits compose the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit we receive is likened to water, but the seven Spirits are not as I have just shown (Reference Isaiah 44:3-4, Jeremiah 2:13, John 4:10-14, Jeremiah 17:13, Revelation 7:17). Again, the seven Spirits are likened to:

  1. lamps of fire on the candlestick (also known as the lamp stand)
  2. seven eyes on the Lamb as like flames of fire (Additional references for the eyes of fire are: Revelation 1:14, Revelation 2:18, Revelation 19:12, Daniel 10:6).

THE SEVEN SPIRITS EXAMINED
The seven Spirits of YHWH, listed in Isaiah 11:1-3, were given to Messiah when He was in the flesh and currently remains in possession of these seven Spirits as stated in Revelation 3:1. And, Messiah was given the Spirit without measure (Reference John 3:34-35). These seven Spirits represent the full measure as I will expound upon after the examination of each of the seven Spirits. To fully understand the full measure, you first need to understand the meaning of each Spirit. I will give you Strong's Exhaustive Concordance catalog number and the Hebrew definitions of six out of the seven Spirits.

THE FIRST SPIRIT
The Spirit of YHWH

The first part of Isaiah 11:1-3 (v:2) reads, "The Spirit of YHWH shall rest upon Him". The Spirit of YHWH itself is the Spirit of Love. 1 John 4:6 reads, God is Love. And Romans 5:5 reads, the Holy Spirit that we are given sheds love abroad in our hearts. Every one that possesses YHWH's Holy Spirit, possesses the Spirit of Love. YHWH does not withhold this Spirit from any of His saints. Although, it is our responsibility to perfect this love within us by keeping His Word (Reference 1 John 2:5).

THE SECOND SPIRIT
Wisdom

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance #2451 means: wisdom (in a good sense):-skillful, wisdom, wisely, wit. The Random House Dictionary definition reads, "knowledge of what is true or right, coupled with good judgment."

THE THIRD SPIRIT
Understanding

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance #998 means: knowledge, meaning x perfectly. From #995 meaning to separate mentally, distinguish, or discern. The Tormont Webster's Dictionary defines understanding as: 1) The quality or condition of one who understands; comprehension. 2) The faculty by which one understands; intelligence.

THE FOURTH SPIRIT
Counsel

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance #6098 means: advice, by implication, plan. Also prudence. We should be educated in the Word of YHWH so that we may give sound, good advice to others from YHWH's Word.

THE FIFTH SPIRIT
Might

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance #1369 means: force (lit or fig) valor, victory, force (act, power) mastery, strength.

THE SIXTH SPIRIT
Knowledge

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance #1847 means: knowledge:-cunning, [ig-]norantly, know(-ledge), (un-) awares (wittingly). From #3045 meaning observation, care, recognition. [We should strive to have keen insight of the word of YHWH. We need to be sharp and astute, and not be lethargic (sluggish - lack of arousal) for the word of YHWH. Be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks (1 Peter 3:15).] The Tormont Webster's Dictionary defines knowledge as: The state or fact of knowing.

THE SEVENTH SPIRIT
Fear

Strong's Exhaustive Concordance #3374 meaning: reverence, make afraid. Most everyone has seen the bumper sticker that reads, "No Fear". This is the wrong attitude to have. We need to have fear and reverence for YHWH, and reverence for His creation. Philipians 2:12 reads, "So that, my beloved, as you always obeyed - not only in my presence, but now much rather in my absence - work out your own deliverance with fear and trembling." People need to have fear of the higher power.

IS THERE A RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE SEVEN SPIRITS and THE HOLY SPIRIT?
1 Corinthians 12:4-12 reads, (v:4) "And there are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. (v:5) There are different kinds of services, but the same Master. (v:6) And there are different kinds of workings, but it is the same Elohim who is working all in all. (v:7) AND TO EACH ONE IS GIVEN THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SPIRIT FOR PROFITING. (v:8) for to one is given a word of WISDOM through the Spirit, and to another a word of KNOWLEDGE according to the same spirit." I will stop here for a moment and paraphrase Paul. Paul, in other words said, the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of Knowledge are manifestations of ONE Spirit. The Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of Knowledge are two of the seven Spirits that are listed in Isaiah 11:2. Now continuing to read, (v:9) "and to another faith by the same Spirit." Is faith one of the seven main Spirits? No. Faith appears to be a fruit of the Spirit of Love (Reference Galatians 5:6. Galatians 5:6 reveals faith works through love). (v:10) "and to another the working of miracles, and to another prophesy; to another discerning of Spirits; to another kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues." In verse 10, miracles, prophesy, discerning of Spirits, and tongues are not any of the seven main Spirits listed in Isaiah 11:2. The working of miracles is a fruit of the Spirit of Might. The Spirit of Might provides POWER to create miracles. If you are able to prophesy, you have been given a greater portion of the Spirit of Understanding. Many people read bible prophesy, can quote scripture, but most don't understand it. The only means to understand bible prophesy is to have an aspect/a fruit of the Spirit of Understanding. The extent of your understanding of bible prophesy and other biblical concepts relies on the measure of the Spirit of Understanding you possess. All of the saints are given a certain degree of the Spirit of Understanding. It is a salvation necessity. Spiritual discernment listed in verse 10 also comes from the Spirit of Understanding. One of the definitions of the Hebrew word translated into our English word "understanding" is discernment. The gift of tongues are from the Spirit of knowledge. You would know various languages. Now continuing to read, (v:11) "But One and the same Spirit works all these, distributing to each one individually as He intends. (v:12) For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is the Messiah."

Messiah is that One Spirit Paul spoke of in verses 11 and 12, and this One spirit is the whole body. All of the saints together, compose His whole body because each saint is one part or aspect of Him. Messiah is whole. Individually, we are not. But, together the saints compose Messiah's entire body. Messiah is the One Spirit, thus the Holy Spirit of YHWH as I will expound in length in a following section. Verse 11 of 1 Corinthians 12 was clear. This One Spirit (who we know to be Messiah in other scriptures) works all of the Spirits. I will again quote 1 Corinthians 12;11-12. Concentrate on the words. It reads, "But One and the same Spirit works all these, distributing to each one individually as He intends. (v:12) For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is the Messiah." I will again quote 1 Corinthians 12:4-6. Please concentrate on the words. It reads, (v:4) "And there are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. (v:5) There are different kinds of services, but the same Master. (v:6) And there are different kinds of workings, but it is the same Elohim who is working all in all."

In reality, Messiah's Spiritual body actually manifests all seven Spirits. We can know this by the vision Zechariah was given in chapter four. When Messiah was in the flesh, He fully possessed all seven of the Spirits. John 3:34-35 paraphrased; Messiah was given the Spirit without measure.

If one saint would fully possess all seven of the Spirits, then that individual saint would have the power and ability as did Messiah. Although, I suspect, if any one saint had such a blessing, it may not be a blessing after all. Carnal nature might take control and the individual saint could become puffed-up. 1 Corinthians 14:12 reads, "Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church." Paul wrote this because he understood carnal nature. Carnal nature desires spiritual gifts for the edification of self. We want to feel and believe good about ourselves thinking we have something from YHWH that others don't possess. We should desire Spiritual gifts for essentially two reasons. The first reason: to be closer and have more oneness with YHWH and Messiah. It is said of Kind David, he was a man after YHWH's own heart. He utmost desired to follow the ways of YHWH and no doubt studied the law/the scriptures daily. Psalms 119:97 reads, "Oh how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day." The second reason: to desire Spiritual gifts is so that we edify and help others.

Messiah pre-qualified to receive all seven of the Spirits in their fullness within the flesh. Understand, Messiah lived beforehand in righteousness. He chose to maintain righteousness as a Spirit Being unlike Satan. Isaiah 42:6 reads, "I, YHWH (the Father), have called You (Melchizedek) in righteousness, and I take hold of Your hand and guard You, and give You for a covenant to the people, for a light to the gentiles," YHWH the Father made a covenant with Melchizedek before He was manifested in the flesh as Yahushua Messiah. He did not enter into a covenant afterward. That belief is erroneous because the fulfillment of the contract between the two Beings began at conception. The Father, YHWH, did not contract with Messiah to be His son after Messiah began growing as a physical human being.

Messiah, had proven His loyalty already as a Spiritual Being. And, understand, Messiah was the Word and was God that came down among us (John 1). Messiah was qualified to receive all seven Spirits in their entirety within the flesh. The saints possessed no prior qualifications, only carnal nature. We are given a small amount of the Spirits and we must prove we are responsible and diligent with the small amount before we are given a greater amount. Reference Matthew 25:14-29, the parable of the talents.

The relationship between the seven Spirits and the Holy Spirit is that the seven Spirits are manifestations of the Holy Spirit. These manifestations were all given names. The main manifestations are: love, wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and fear. Other Spirit manifestations originate out from one of these seven main Spirits. In some places in the New Testament, these secondary manifestations are referred to as gifts. Don't be confused with these title references. Any Spirit born from the Holy Spirit is a manifestation and is also a gift. If YHWH chooses to give you a particular manifestation whether it be wisdom or peace, it is a gift. But, for the sake of reference, the seven main Spirits are being referenced as manifestations and the secondary manifestations are being referenced as gifts. An example of this can be found in Galatians 5:6. Faith works through love. Fruits in reality are secondary manifestations, but not in the sense that they are of less value. Not So! Ephesians 5:9 reads, "For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth."

PEOPLE CAN POSSESS ONE OR MORE OF THE SEVEN SPIRITS BUT NOT POSSESS THE LIVING SPIRIT
YHWH is able to manifest parts of His spirit such as knowledge, wisdom, and understanding without the Spirit of Life to accompany them. In other words, mankind can possess manifestations of YHWH's spirit, but not possess His Living Spirit which is known as the Spirit of Truth (John 14:17). Genesis 2:9 is a perfect example of this. In Genesis 2:9, Elohim made the tree of Life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. This tree was only one portion of the Spirit of knowledge. It only produced fruit bearing knowledge of good and evil. There are more fruits that the full Spirit of knowledge can produce.

As you already know the story, Adam and Eve chose not to eat of the tree of life, but rather they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Is knowledge of good and evil itself spiritual poison? The answer is no for two reasons:

The First Reason:
Genesis 1:31 reads, "...Elohim saw all that He made, and see, it was very good. ..." YHWH looked at His creation at the end of the sixth day and said it was very good. Everything was created up to that point except for the seventh Sabbath of rest and possibly Eve. This includes the two trees in the midst of the garden.

The Second Reason:
YHWH used the Spirit of knowledge of good and evil when He created His laws. He established good and evil. I will explain more of this a bit later.

Knowledge of good and evil by itself without any other Spirits, coupled with carnal nature is self destruction. The actions of Adam and Eve lead to their own self destruction.

Adam and Eve rejected Elohim and possibly broke His first commandment by not eating of the tree of life. YHWH commanded them to eat from every tree of the garden except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. He did not just tell them they could eat of any tree they wanted to except the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Not so! (Reference Genesis 2:16-17).

Adam and Eve broke YHWH's second commandment. They ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil that they were commanded not to eat of. The penalty for breaking this second commandment was death. Sounds rather harsh. Although, YHWH who is the Master Creator, pre-knew the outcome of their action since it was He who set the natural laws in motion. Before Adam and Eve sinned, YHWH told them if they ate of it, they would surely die (Reference Genesis 2:17). In other words, the stage was preset. Adam and Eve chose to oppose YHWH. Anything opposite of YHWH leads to self destruction. YHWH is LIFE.

Because of Adam and Eve's decision and personal action, down through the history of mankind, there are people who try their best to do good. Then there are people who don't care about good, but choose evil. And, then there are people who possess variations of good and evil to one degree or another. Each one, without YHWH's holy Spirit, chooses for himself. Deuteronomy 12:8 reads, "Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes." (Also reference Judges 17:6) When one thinks to choose for their self what is good and evil, they become a law maker and not a law follower. Elohim is the law maker. He intends mankind to be law followers, not lawmakers.

Paul admonished the saints. We are not to think or judge anyone beyond what is written in scripture (Reference 1 Cor 4:6). Example: if we speak evil of a new believer because they are a vegetarian, and the new believer does not break any laws of YHWH, we then elevate ourselves as law makers because there is no commandment stating we must eat meat. If we make laws, we in turn also become judges. We elevate ourselves AS Elohim when we make laws and become judges (Reference James 4:11-12).

Again, as I already stated, YHWH used the Spirit of knowledge of good and evil when He created His set of laws to govern His creation. After Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, they possessed the same power/ability on the physical level. That is why Genesis 3:22 reads, "And YHWH Elohim said, 'See, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil..." Additionally, in Genesis 3:5 Satan told Eve, "For Elohim knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be like Elohim, knowing good and evil." This statement was not a lie.

YHWH is the only true lawmaker and true Elohim. His ways and laws are perfect and we are unable to improve upon them. If we elevate ourselves like Adam and Eve and the rest of carnal mankind, we look to ourselves for answers to self govern instead of YHWH. We are gods unto ourselves. This action breaks the first two commandments: "Thou shalt not have any other Gods before Me" and "Thou shalt not have any graven images, serve them, or bow down to them." In other words, we put ourselves in front of YHWH and we serve ourselves.

King Solomon Is Another Example of One Who Possessed Spirit Manifestations Without The Living Spirit.
In 1 Kings 3:1-15, King Solomon began to reign. YHWH told King Solomon in a dream, he could ask for anything he wanted from YHWH. King Solomon replied he was but a child. He did not know how to go out or how to come in. In other words, he had no experience as a ruler and did not know how to properly govern the people. King Solomon wanted an understanding heart and wisdom between good and bad. YHWH appeared impressed with Solomon's answer and gave him more than he asked for. YHWH additionally gave him riches and esteem. King Solomon possessed two of the main Spirit manifestations possibly to the full degree. They were: the Spirit of Understanding and the Spirit of Wisdom.

Even though King Solomon possessed two of the main Spirit manifestations and started his reign with good intentions by following YHWH as his father David did, he eventually self corrupted. King David possessed YHWH's Holy Spirit (Reference I Samuel 16:13) whereas King Solomon did not. It appears, YHWH tested King Solomon by also giving him riches and esteem. YHWH understands the pulls of human nature. YHWH used King Solomon for an example unto the rest of us. Without YHWH's divine Holy Spirit, one cannot stay from self destruction.

Revisiting Solomon's request, I want to make another point. Solomon asked for understanding and wisdom to discern between good and bad. There is a huge difference between knowing good and evil, and discerning between good and evil. For a perfect example of this concept, all we have to do is look at the society around us. The only people that seem to possess any true discernment between good and evil are those people that apply YHWH's basic commandments. And, I mean Sabbath and/or Sunday keepers. Psalms 119:98 reads, "Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me." Knowing and applying the commandments will provide you with some of Elohim's wisdom.

King David had a love for YHWH's law because he possessed the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of love is accessible through the Holy Spirit if we choose to access it. King Solomon, even though he was given the Spirit of wisdom, did not possess or have access to the Spirit of love within himself. Consequently, he did not have the love toward YHWH and went after other gods. This was his downfall.

There Are Additional Old Testament Examples When YHWH Gave Manifestations of His Spirit To The Working of His Purpose
In the desert, when the children of Israel were commanded to create the tabernacle, garments, and so forth, YHWH gave certain carnal individuals manifestations of His seven Spirits.

First example: In Exodus 28:3, YHWH provided certain individuals the Spirit of wisdom to make the garment for Aaron.

Second example: In Exodus 31:1-11, YHWH put the Spirit of wisdom, the Spirit of understanding, and the Spirit of knowledge within Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah. His job was to make designs for work of gold, silver, bronze, cutting of stones, etc.

In Deuteronomy 34:9, Joshua, the son of Nun, was given the Spirit of wisdom when he took charge of the Israelites. Moses laid hands on Joshua before Moses was taken. Whether Joshua possessed the living Spirit is undetermined.

In 2 Samuel 16:23, it appears that YHWH had given King David's counselor, Ahithophel, the Spirit of counsel. 2 Samuel 16:23 reads, "And the counsel of Ahithophel, which he counselled in those days, was as if a man had inquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom."

The following are two additional examples out of many within the Old Testament when the manifestation of YHWH's Spirit were given to men who possessed the Holy Spirit.

In Daniel 5:11-12, it is stated, Daniel possessed the Spirit of understanding, the Spirit of knowledge, the Spirit of wisdom, and the "light". I assume the "light" was YHWH's Holy Spirit.

Elija,h no doubt, had manifestations of the Spirit. He was able to perform miracles. For example, 1 kings 17:22, he brought a boy child back to life. This type of performance requires the Spirit of Might which provides power to create miracles.

It appears, YHWH did not grant the Spirits of love and might to any man without possessing His very Holy Spirit which is the Spirit of Truth. These Spirits seem to be reserved for selected individuals.

NEW TESTAMENT EXAMPLES OF THE SEVEN SPIRITS IN ACTION
There are a large number of events within the new testament that demonstrate the seven Spirits in action. I want to present three.

The First Example:
Messiah experience great carnal fear on the Mount of Olives before His capture. Although, Messiah possessed YHWH's Spirit of Fear in full measure. This Spirit provided the means to overcome the carnal fear as did some loving comfort from a messenger. Luke 22:44, reads "And being in agony, He was praying more earnestly. And His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down to the ground." Messiah had more fear and reverence for YHWH His father than for what was about to happen to Him; enabling Him to overcome His carnal fear.

The Second Example:
1 Corinthians 14:24-25 is an example of the Spirit of Knowledge. The saints suddenly knew the secrets of the hearts of new believers that entered their assembly. YHWH gave these saints the Spirit of knowledge so that they would praise YHWH and know He was truly among them. 1 Corinthians 14:24-25 reads, (v:24) "But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an unlearned one comes in, he is reproved by all, he is discerned by all. (v:25) And so the secrets of his heart are revealed. And so, falling down on his face, he shall worship Elohim, declaring that Elohim is truly among you."

The Third Example:
Acts 3:6 reads, "But Peter said, 'I do not have silver and gold, but what I do possess, this I give you: In the Name of Yahushua Messiah of Nazareth, rise up and walk." Peter displayed the Spirit of might.

WHAT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?
Before I explain the symbology of the seven Spirits revealed in the books of Revelation and Zechariah, I want to elaborate on the Holy Spirit. The understanding of what the Holy Spirit is, I believe will provide a better understanding of the symbology of the seven Spirits and their relationship to the Holy Spirit.

Main stream Christianity and the once World Wide Church of God and it's current offshoot organizational churches, I personally believe, have an incorrect understanding. Main steam Christianity believes the Holy Spirit is a third person. The current Churches of God believe the Holy Spirit is not a Personage, but is a power entity of the Father. This belief is partly wrong and partly correct. The Holy Spirit is a Personage and a power entity, but not a third person. Please allow me to explain my current understanding. I will summarize before I begin and afterward I will present many scriptures.

I believe Yahushua Messiah is the Father's Holy Spirit. We are given the body and blood essence of Messiah's Spirit. Scripture unequivocally reveals no one comes to the Father except through Yahushua Messiah. This means specifically through Messiah's Spirit within us. We approach the throne on high through Messiah who is our High priest. That is why the Holy Spirit is able to speak, hear, and think.

Because it is a Spiritual essence from Messiah's within us; transforming us, Messiah is our Spiritual Father. Thus, the Father - El Shaddai - is actually our Grandfather in type. Messiah represents all the male overseer relationships: our Father, our Brother, and our Husband.

The Holy Spirit Is a Spiritual Body and Blood Essence Of Yahushua Messiah
Galatians 4:6-7 reads, (v:6) "And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father, (v:7) Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ." Firstly, the Holy Spirit is Yahushua Messiah's Spirit. Secondly, we cry Abba Father through Messiah's Spirit because Messiah is El Shaddai's only brought forth Son. The Holy Spirit is not El Shaddai or a Spirit blob from Him. Thirdly, we are heirs through Messiah. EVERYTHING is through Messiah. That is why the Holy Spirit is an essence from Yahushua Messiah. We can not go to the Father unless we go through Messiah. I will elaborate more about Messiah being the conduit to El Shaddai in the following subsection.

The following five sets of scripture passages are additional scriptures that reveal we are given the Spirit of Messiah. Philipians 1:19 reads, "For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the SUPPLY OF THE SPIRIT OF YAHUSHUA MESSIAH"

Romans 8:9-11 reads, (v:9) "But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Messiah, this one is not His. [Did you catch that? If you don't possess the Spirit of Messiah, you are not one of Messiah's saints.] Now continuing to read: (v:10) And if Messiah is in you, the body is truly dead on account of sin, but the Spirit is Life on account of righteousness. [The righteousness is Messiah's, not ours.] (v:11) And if the Spirit of Him who raised Yahushua from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Messiah from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies through HIS SPIRIT dwelling in you."

Romans 8:9-11 revealed much. The first sentence revealed the Spirit is the Spirit of Elohim. The second sentence revealed, if we do not have the Spirit of Messiah in us, we are not one of Messiah's - meaning we are not one His saints. Romans 8:9 does not mean Messiah's Spirit is an additional Spirit from that of El Shaddai's Spirit. If we had another Spirit from the Father called the Holy Spirit, which is specifically not considered to be Messiah's Spirit, then why would scripture say, we are none of His? Moreover, Ephesians 2:18 clearly informs us that there is only One Spirit by which we have access to the Father. That One Spirit is Yahushua Messiah's Spirit. As a repeat, verse 10 read: "And IF MESSIAH IS IN YOU, the body is truly dead on account of sin, but the Spirit is Life on account of righteousness." Messiah is in us. He is the Spirit of Life.

Romans 8:26 reads, "...the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered." Romans 8:26 is clear. The Spirit makes intercession for us. But, notice what Romans 8:34 reveals. Romans 8:34 reads, "...Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us." Romans 8:34 is also very clear. Messiah is the one who makes intercession for us. Romans 8:26 and Romans 8:34 are not in conflict. Messiah is the very Spirit that lives within us who makes intercession for us.

I believe with this information plus additional information I will present, we can conclude the Spirit we have is a body and blood essence of Yahushua Messiah, and Yahushua Messiah is the Holy Spirit of El Shaddai.

I will now return to verse 11 of Romans 8 for further explanation. I don't want any one to be confused. Verse 11 read, "And if the Spirit of Him who raised Yahushua from the dead dwells in you..." etc. This sentence implies the Spirit of Truth is not directly from the Messiah, but from the Father - El Shaddai because this Spirit raised Messiah from the dead. But, notice what 1 Corinthians 6:14, 1 Corinthians 1:24 and John 6:40 reveal. 1 Corinthians 6:14 reads, "And Elohim, who raised up the Master, shall also raise us up through His power." 1 Corinthians 1:24 paraphrased, Messiah is the power of Elohim. And, John 6:40 paraphrased, Messiah said of Himself, He will be the One who will resurrect the saints. In other words; Messiah is the power of El Shaddai, and this power raised Messiah from the dead and will also raise the saints from the dead. This statement appears to be paradoxical. How can Messiah be the Power of the Father if the Father used this Power to raise Messiah from the dead?

Messiah emptied Himself of His Spirit body when El Shaddai implanted Him within Mary's womb (Reference Philipians 2:6-7). Messiah's Spirit body remained with the Father - El Shaddai and did not die. Messiah's actual Spirit body is the Holy Spirit and is also the very Power of El Shaddai.

Before I present many additional scriptures, I want to make my current understanding unequivocally clear. The best way I know how to explain this Spiritual esoteric concept is the following: El Shaddai's utterance is called the Word of Truth because it is absolute truth and nothing but truth. This Word is also Holy because it comes directly from El Shaddai, the Father. And, this Word is His power because when He speaks, it is done.

This Word from El Shaddai, the Father, possesses a particular essence of itself that allows it to be it's own Personage. We may liken this essence to a brain and a head allowing it to think, speak, hear and the like. Because of this essence part of the Spirit, it possesses a consciousness. Just like we humans. We humans have many parts to our body, but without the brain, we are unaware of our existence. I hearken to Romans 1:20 for my imagery. We can understand the Spiritual and even the very God-head by the knowledge and understanding of the things that were created.

This Word Personage is the Messiah our Savior. Messiah possesses a consciousness essence and a Spirit body. We humans possess a consciousness essence, but a physical body.

I believe El Shaddai took Messiah's consciousness essence and implanted it within Mary's womb. However, the Spirit body that once was Messiah's, remained alive in the Spirit form allowing El Shaddai to command it's use. Messiah's Spirit body was and is the Holy Spirit. This does not mean Messiah's consciousness essence did not exist before His physical birth. There are many scriptures that prove the contrary.

Messiah's physical body was dead when He died on the stake. I believe the consciousness essence of Messiah, the essence that made Him His own Personage, was extracted from Messiah by the Father and kept for three days and three nights. Thus, death is likened to sleep. Luke 23:46 reads, "And crying out with a loud voice, Yahushua said, 'Father, unto Your hands I commit My Spirit.' And having said this, He breathed His last." After the three days and three nights, I believe the Father used Messiah's once Spirit body to bring Messiah back to life. The Father - El Shaddai - put Yahushua Messiah back together. For the lack of a better analogy, He put Messiah's Spiritual brain back into His once Spiritual body and commanded it back to life. Yahushua Messiah then again became a coherent, walking, and talking Spirit Personage as He once was (Reference John 1:29-31, John 17:5, Genesis 1:26-27, and Genesis 3:22)

I will now present a large number of scriptures and provide further explanation that delineates Messiah is the Spirit within us. This presentation builds upon itself. After you hear all the scriptures presented, I have the utmost confidence you will see what I now see.

1 Thes 5:9-10 reads, (v:9) "For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Yahushua Messiah, (v:10) Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him." We live together with Messiah because Messiah lives in us!

In Galatians 2:20, Paul said, Christ lives within me. This is literal.

1 John 2:14 paraphrased, the Word abides in you. How much clearer can scripture be? Messiah is the Word and the Word abides in us!

1 John 4:9 reads, "By this the love of Elohim was manifested in us, that Elohim has sent His only brought-forth Son into the world, in order that we might live through Him." The love of Elohim manifested within us is Messiah because we live through Him.

Ephesians 6:17 reads, "Take also the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God." The helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit is the Word of YHWH, and we know the Word became Yahushua Messiah! Therefore, the helmet of salvation and the Spiritual sword is Messiah!

1 Corinthians 15:45 paraphrased, Messiah, the second Adam, is a life-giving Spirit. Messiah is a Spirit! Consequently, it is by His Spirit we have life.

Acts 20:28 reads, "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all of the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of Elohim which He has purchased with His own blood." Did you notice, the Spirit is the One who made certain individuals overseers? And, did you notice this Spirit is referred to as "He", the One who purchased us with His own blood?

Hebrews 1:3 reads, "Who being the brightness of (his) glory, and the express image of His Person, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on High." In other words, Messiah is the brightness of the Father. Messiah is in the image of the Father. The Father upholds all things through His Power which is Messiah the Word. Messiah purged our sins and sat down on the right hand of the Father. Hebrews 1:3 specifically stated, The Father upholds all things by the WORD of His power. We know the Word became Messiah and remains as Messiah. Therefore, it is Messiah who upholds everything and He is the power of the Father - El Shaddai. That is why the actual Spirit body of the Word remained in existence when He was in the physical form. And, that explains why and how the Holy Spirit was able to come upon certain individuals while Messiah was in the flesh. It was El Shaddai who commanded the BODY which is the actual Holy Spirit while Messiah was in the flesh. Simeon is an example of one who experienced the Holy Spirit while Messiah was in the flesh (Reference Luke 2:25-27). The Holy Spirit came upon Simeon to reveal to Him He would not see death until He saw the Messiah.

1 John 5:7 reads, the Truth is the Spirit. Now, notice what Messiah said of Himself in John 14:6. It reads, "Yahushua saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life..." The Spirit is Truth and Messiah said He was the Truth. This Spirit entity that dwells in us is from Messiah and is called Truth. YHWH gave names to all of His Spirits. The one we're blessed to have is called Truth. That is why scripture reads, the Spirit of Truth will lead you into all truth (Reference John 16:13). That is the main function of the Holy Spirit in us.

I realize today, there are so many members of our bible fellowship groups and organizations who believe different doctrines. They all claim to have the Holy Spirit. There is only one set of doctrines that are truth. The remaining are false. That actually means, there are many who claim and think they have the Spirit of Truth, but do not. I also realize, certain individuals who have the Holy Spirit, can get off track for a while because certain false doctrines can sound very convincing - that is, if you don't possess enough knowledge and understanding of scripture. However, if you have the Holy Spirit, it will lead you to see your errors and continue to lead you into truth. Philippians 1:9-10 paraphrased, it is the hope that we grow in knowledge and judgment/discernment to examine the doctrines that differ in order to be sincere. If you find yourself in error, you need to humble yourself and accept it if you want to continue to grow in truth. If you don't want to accept that you are in error and don't humble yourself, you are actually quenching the Holy Spirit. It's trying to lead you and you're sitting on it.

Each Saint Possesses a Different Part Of Messiah's Body
Ephesians 5:29-30 reads, (v:29) "For no one ever hated his own flesh, but feeds and cherishes it, as also the Master does the assembly. (v:30) Because we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones." Messiah has given the saints parts of His body. That is why the whole assembly of saints compose the whole body. The Holy Spirit literally is a part of Messiah's Spiritual body. 1 Corinthians 12:12,14,15,17,18,22 reads, (v:12) "For the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is the Messiah." (v:14) "For indeed the body is not one member but many. (v:15) If the foot says, 'Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,' does it therefore belong to the body? (v:17) If all the body was an eye, where would be the hearing? If all hearing where would be the smelling? (v:18) But now Elohim has set the members, each one of them, in the body, even as He pleased. (v:22) And those of the body which we think to be less respected, these we present greater respect..."

The Passover symbols, the bread and the wine represent Messiah's body and blood. During the last Passover meal, the disciples drank from the same cup and ate from the same bread loaf. Each disciple consumed a part of the wine and bread, but each did not consume the same exact part.

1 Corinthians 6:13 paraphrased: our bodies are made for the Master Messiah. 1 Corinthians 3:23 paraphrased: we belong to Messiah and Messiah belongs to Elohim.

Since I now understand that the Holy Spirit is an essence from Messiah's body and blood, I now understand why Messiah told His disciples in John 16:7 - "nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you." Messiah needed to be glorified and transformed back into His Spirit Body so that He could then send in return parts of His Spirit body and blood essence to His saints (Reference John 7:39).

Messiah did not possess His once Spiritual body in the flesh. He gave-up His Spirtual Body to become a physical human being so that He could die for all mankind. But, think about that from Messiah's perspective. I think Messiah referred to His once Spiritual body seemingly as a third entity because during the time of His physical life, it was a third entity apart from Himself.

Notice in John 17:1-3, Messiah prayed to the Father as if He, Himself, was a third person. John 17:1-3 reads, (v:1) "These words spoke Yahushua, and lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said, 'Father, the hour is come; glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You: (v:2) As You have given Him power over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him (v:3) And this is life eternal, that they might know You the only true God, and Yahushua Messiah, whom You have sent.' " Messiah spoke in the third person just as He spoke in the third person in John 14.

I will now quote John 14:15-21. Pay close attention to what Messiah said. Messiah speaks as if the comforter is seemingly a third entity, but yet part of himself. But, then He makes it clear. The Father is in Him and He is in us. John 14:15-21 reads, (v:15) "If you love Me, you shall guard my commands. (v:16) And I shall ask the Father, and He shall give you another Helper, to stay with you forever - (:17) the Spirit of Truth, whom the world is unable to receive, because it does not see Him or know Him. But you know Him, for He stays with you and shall be in you. (v:18) I shall not leave you orphans - I am coming to you. (v:19) Yet a little while the world no longer sees Me, but you shall see Me, because I live, and you shall live. (v:20) In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. [Messiah clearly said HE IS IN US.] (v:21) He who possesses My commands and guards them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him and manifest Myself to him."

Messiah told His disciples, they knew the Holy Spirit. Understand, the Holy Spirit had not descended upon them yet when Messiah spoke these words to his disciples. So, how did Messiah's disciples know the Holy Spirit before it came? Messiah was actually referring to Himself. The comforter/helper is the Spirit of Truth. We know from John 14:6 Messiah said He was the Truth. This Spirit of Truth will stay with us forever. That's because Messiah will be with us forever. The saints will marry Him.

I will requote verse 21 of John 14: "He who possesses My commands and guards them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I shall love him AND MANIFEST MYSELF TO HIM." Here, Messiah made a general statement, one that extended beyond the disciples He was face to face with. If you possess His commands, guard them, and love Him, Messiah will manifest Himself unto you. That's a very powerful statement.

No One Comes To The Father -El Shaddai - Except Through Messiah
No one comes to the Father - El Shaddai - except through Messiah and this means through Messiah's Spirit. John 14:6 reads, "...no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." We are unable to approach the heavenly throne without Messiah. He is our High Priest. For example, when we pray we always begin by addressing the Father/El Shaddai by saying something of the sort, "Dear Father in heaven" or "Our Father in heaven". Afterward, we express whatever is heavy on our mind, and then we end our prayer by using Messiah's Name. We assign our Saviors Name to our petition. If we assigned our own names to our prayers, El Shaddai, the Father, would ignore you. Think about that the next time you pray. You may think twice about what you pray about. John 30:21 reads, "But these are written, that ye might believe that Yahushua is the Messiah, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life THROUGH HIS NAME." Everything is through Messiah. The following is another scripture that reads we become perfect through Messiah. Hebrews 13:21 reads, "Make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, THROUGH Yahushua Messiah; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen." Everything is through Messiah. The following are some additional scripture references out of many you may want to read for yourself: Romans 7:25, Romans 15:17, 1 Cor 15:57, Philipians 4:7, Titus 3:5-7, 1 Peter 4:11, Acts 2:38, Acts 3:6, and Ephesians 5:20.

The Holy Spirit Hears, Speaks, and Thinks
John 16:13 confused me for the longest time. It was an anomaly amongst other scriptures. I believe, before now, I had an incorrect understanding of the Holy Spirit. John 16:13 informs us the Holy Spirit can speak, hear, and think. Now that I understand it is the body and blood essence of Messiah, it makes sense. John 16:13 reads, "But when He comes, the Spirit of the Truth, He shall guide you into all the truth. For He shall not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears He shall speak, and He shall announce to you what is to come." The following is another scripture that informs us the Holy Spirit speaks. 1 Timothy 4:1 reads, "But the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils."

Now, compare John 16:13 and 1 Timothy 4:1, the scriptures we just read, to other scriptures where Messiah speaks of Himself. John 12:49 reads, "For I have not spoken of Myself; but the Father which sent Me, He gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak." Additionally, John 3:34 reads, "For He (Messiah) whom Elohim has sent speaks the Words of Elohim, ..." John 15:15 reads, "...for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you." Messiah is the One who reveals prophesy to us throughout the bible. Specifically in Revelation 1:18-19, Messiah is the One who prophesied things to come.

Now notice what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 13:3: "Since ye seek a proof of Messiah speaking in me..." Messiah is the One that is doing the speaking within Paul because the Holy Spirit is an essence of Messiah.

I personally believe communication between the saints and Messiah is through the His blood essence of the Spirit that each saint possesses. Life is in the blood. The blood carries information that we don't quite understand. Modern science has discovered information travels through the blood. There is a reason why scripture reads Abel's blood cried out to YHWH. Genesis 3:10 reads, "The voice of your brother's blood cries out to Me from the ground." The blood does not have a mouth, but communicates on a level we don't understand. Even more so, the Spiritual life blood of Messiah. I believe Messiah's Spiritual blood essence is the communicative conduit between Messiah and our human spirit. I believe Messiah's Spirit dwells directly within our conscience and subconscience.

For another passage of scripture that reveals the Spirit speaks, read Acts 10:14-19. Peter spoke to the Spirit and called Him Master in verse 14, and the Spirit spoke to Peter in verse 19 when Peter was thinking about the vision of the unclean animal sheet he was shown by the Master. The Master told Him to kill and eat in verse 13. Verse 14 reads, "But Peter said, 'Not so, Master; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean." Verse 19 reads, "While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, 'Behold, three men seek thee.' " The Spirit that spoke to Peter was none other than the Master.

The following is one more set of scriptures that identifies the Holy Spirit speaks and is Messiah. In Hebrews 3:7-11, the Holy Spirit spoke. Beginning in verse three: "Wherefore as the Holy Spirit saith, 'To day if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: (v:9) When your fathers tempted Me, proved Me, and saw My works forty years. (v:10) Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known My ways. (v:11) So I sware in My wrath, they shall not enter into My rest.' " 1 Corinthians 10:1-4 clearly identifies the Being who lead the children of Israel in the desert as Messiah, the Rock. The Holy Spirit that spoke in Hebrews 3:7-11, is none other than Messiah.

2 Corinthians 3:17 plainly and unequivocally identifies what and who the Spirit is. 2 Corinthians 3:17 reads, "Now the Master is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Master is, there is liberty."

The very Spirit of Messiah within the saints is the mystery unto the world, but this mystery of the true Elohim is revealed to the saints. Colossians 1:26-27 reads, (v:26) "The mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to His saints: (v:27) To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." This passage of scripture implies the saints are the only ones privy to the knowledge and understanding of the mystery and secret of Elohim.

Messiah is Our Father
El Shaddai gave life to Yahushua Messiah, and in turn Yahushua Messiah gives life to us. Therefore, since Yahushua gives life to us, He becomes our Father and the Father we know to be El Shaddai is actually our grandfather. Scripture reveals this. Isaiah 9:6 reads, "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Yahushua Messiah unequivocally was given the title: FATHER. If He indeed is a Father, He has Fathered something. 1 Peter 1:23 reads, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." We are born again of the Spirit through the Word which we know to be Messiah. Romans 6:11 reads, "Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God THROUGH Yahushua Messiah our Master." Again as I have already quoted: 1 John 4:9 reads, "By this the love of Elohim was manifested in us, that Elohim has sent His only brought-forth Son into the world, in order that we might live through Him."

2 Corinthians 5:17 reads, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." We are truly born again when we receive Messiah's Spirit called Truth because it transforms us from our carnal nature into His spiritual nature. As a repeat, Romans 8:9-10 reads, (v:9) "But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Messiah, this one is not His." As I've already stated, the Holy Spirit of Elohim IS YAHUSHUA MESSIAH. And, if He dwells in you, then you are indeed in the Spirit. Now read Matthew 10:20: "For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you." The Father that speaketh in us is Yahushua Messiah. He is also the One that will quicken our mortal bodies at the resurrection. John 6:40 reads, "And this is the desire of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him should possess everlasting life. And I shall raise him up in the last day." 1 Corinthians 6:14 reads, "And Elohim who raised up the Master shall also raise us up through His Power." Yahushua Messiah is unequivocally the Power of Elohim.

El-Shaddai is Our GrandFather in Type
YHWH provided us analogies from His creation so that we can understand Him and His plan, even the very God-head (Again, reference Romans 1:20). Abraham and Abraham's offspring is an analogy we can use to understand how El Shaddai is actually our grandfather. Abraham represents the Father - El Shaddai. Abraham fathered two sons like did El Shaddai. The first son was Ishmael. Ishmael has two representations. Ishmael is likened to the first Adam. The second representation is that of the physical nation of Israel (Reference Romans 9:6-13). Abraham's second son was born of the free woman who was Isaac. Isaac also has two representations. He is likened to the second Adam who was Messiah, and He also represents the Spiritual nation of Israel (Specifically reference Romans 9:6-8 for this understanding). Abraham fathered both Ishmael and Isaac as El Shaddai fathered both the first and second Adam. Isaac fathered twin sons: Esau and Jacob. Again, Isaac represents Messiah. Therefore, Messiah will also father twin sons. They are the physical nation and the spiritual nation of Israel. The carnal, physical Israelites will receive Messiah's Spirit also after His return (Reference Jeremiah 31:33-34). Any gentile who becomes a believer and receives the Holy Spirit will be grafted into the nation of Israel. Eventually, all of mankind will become a Spiritual Israelite. The symbolical name "Israel" given to Jacob means (according to Strong's #3478) "he who rules with God".

The ancient physical nation of Israel was the first born son as was Esau, but they will not inherit the birthright. The Spiritual nation of Israel, which is comprised of a remnant of Israel and grafted in gentiles, will inherit the birthright as did Jacob, the younger son. And, the elder son will serve the younger son at the resurrection. Genesis 25:23 is a prophesy of this event. Genesis 25:23 reads, "And YHWH said to her (Rebecca) 'Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples shall separate from your body. And one people shall be stronger than the other, and the older serve the younger.' " There is both a physical and spiritual application to this prophesy as like many other prophesies.

Now, returning to the analogy of Abraham himself; he represents the Father - El Shaddai. Jacob, himself, represents the Spiritual nation of Israel. Abraham fathered Isaac, and Isaac father Jacob; therefore, Abraham was Jacob's grandfather. Likewise: El Shaddai fathered Messiah and Messiah fathered us - the Spiritual nation of Israel. El Shaddai is actually our grandfather.

The analogy I used of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to demonstrate El Shaddai - the Father is our grandfather in type is a general one. To be very explicit and precise, the Father - El Shaddai actually only fathered one Son and that is the Messiah. John 3:16 reads, "For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His only brought-forth Son, so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but possess everlasting life." (Also reference John 1:18). I will explain this paradox.

The Word Personage that became Yahushua Messiah is the One who brought forth the first Adam. Although, as I explained in the previous section, the Word - the Messiah, is the Father's Power. That is why it is correct to say, Elohim brought-forth the first Adam. Elohim is plural, not singular. Genesis 1:26 reads, "And Elohim said, 'Let Us make man in our image...' "

Abraham has another representation. Bible characters can be multifaceted, and Abraham is one of those characters. Abraham, as I already delineated, represents the Father - El Shaddai. The very name Abram, according to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance means: High Father. However, Abraham also represents the Messiah - our Father.

In Galatians 3:16 and Romans 9:6-8, Isaac is likened to the Messiah, the One Seed of promise which causes Abraham to represent the Father - El Shaddai. But, in Romans 9:6-8, and Galatians 4:28, the saints are also likened to Isaac, the seed of promise. If so, then this scenario causes Abraham to be likened to the Messiah. This latter scenario better facilitates Galatians 3:7 that reads, "Know then, that those who are of belief are sons of Abraham." Abraham represents our Spiritual Father - Yahushua Messiah, the One who is actually transforming the saints. And, Abraham married his sister as like Messiah will marry His sister the saints.

How Can Messiah Be The Saints Father When The Saints Will Become His Bride and He Will Be Their Husband?
This question is actually very simple to answer. Since Messiah is the second Adam, we can use the first Adam for this analogy. The first Adam was the precursor for the second Adam and His bride. Genesis 2:21-24 paraphrased, YHWH caused a deep sleep to come over Adam. When Adam was sleeping, YHWH took one of His ribs from him. YHWH then closed Adam's flesh, took the rib and transformed it into a woman, and then YHWH brought the woman to Adam.

For this analogy, Messiah's Spirit, that is called Truth, is His rib. This Spirit of Truth is used to transform us into a new creature. 2 Corinthians 5:17 reads, "...if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature." After our resurrection, just as the resurrection of Eve, we will be brought to Adam/Messiah and become His wife. This is how we will become one with Messiah.

Now I ask you, who Fathered Eve? Was it Adam or YHWH? This is not a trick question. Genesis 2:23 reads, "And the man said, 'This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh'. This is called woman because she was taken out of man."

If you answered either YHWH or Adam to my posed question, you are correct. YHWH and Adam both are Father's. YHWH created Adam, and Adam's rib was used as the transforming object to create Eve by the power and command of YHWH. Because of Adam, Eve was created. Because of Messiah, we were and are being created. Colossians 1:16 reads, "Because in Him were created all that are in the heavens and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or rulerships or principalities or authorities - all have been created through Him and for Him."

I will now reread Genesis 2:23, but this time I will also reread Ephesians 5:30 from a previous section so that you can see them together. Adam said in Exodus 2:23: "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh" Notice, once again what Paul said of Messiah - the second Adam. Ephesians 5:30 reads, "Because we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones."

If you comprehended that Adam and Eve typified the relationship we have and will have with Messiah, then you know and understand YHWH's great mystery. In Ephesians 5, Paul explained that the man and wife relationship is likened to Messiah and the assembly. And, specifically in Ephesians 5:32 it reads, "This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Messiah and the assembly." I personally believe when Paul wrote this, he actually meant there was a bigger picture to behold than that which he explained. Adam's rib is likened to Messiah's body part in us, transforming us into a new creature. I personally believe this is actually part of this great mystery. Analogizing: we have Messiah's rib within us, transforming our spirit into His Spirit. James 1:17-18 reads, (v:17) "...the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (v:18) Of His own will begat He us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures."

The very YHWH who took Adam's rib and transformed it was none other than the Personage that became Yahushua Messiah. Yahushua Messiah is actually the Father of all; both the physical man and spiritual man. John 1:18, John 3:16,18 and 1 John 4:9 all reveal El Shaddai has only one begotten Son who is Yahushua Messiah; thus, Yahushua Messiah is the Father of everyone else.

Sadly, there are many who denounce Messiah in the old testament. They also denounce what He said in the new testament. These people who claim they believe in Messiah are being self contradictory. They say they believe in Him, but they do not want to believe what He said. They pick and choose scriptures. If a new testament scripture does not fit their own doctrine, they are bewildered by it, and they say something to the sort of, "You can't trust the new testament. It's full of errors." Well, then we all might of well just say, "YHWH was unable to preserve the events of His only brought forth Son for all of mankind. He must be an incompetent and a weak God".

There are literally hundreds of scriptures that they either explain away or simply ignore. And, it's absolutely erroneous to think the One who became Messiah was not the One interacting with the men of old. The following is one scripture example out of hundreds that reveal that the God who interacted with the ancient Israelites was not the Father in heaven. Example: Isaiah 47:6 reads, "I was wroth with My people, I HAVE PROFANED MY INHERITANCE and I gave them into your hand. You showed them no compassion..." etc. Throughout the old testament, there are many scriptures that read the children of Israel are YHWH's inheritance. If there is only one YHWH (in number) and He is the creator and owner of Israel, then why are they His inheritance? If He already owned them, there is no need for an inheritance. It is illogical to think He will inherit something He already owns. I don't want to turn this subject into the life Messiah had before His physical conception, but it is important to understand that the One who became Messiah was alive and mediated between men and the Father El Shaddai in the old testament. 1 Timothy 2:5 reads, "For there is one Elohim and One Mediator between Elohim and men, the Man Messiah Yahushua." Anyone who reads the bible knows men have been on this earth since the first Adam was created. There has always been ONE mediator between men and El Shaddai. Only by belief can we fully understand that the ages were created by the Word of Elohim (Reference Hebrews 11:3).

People who do not believe in Messiah's pre-existence misconstrue 1 Timothy 2:5. Because Messiah is referred to as a man, these people believe this scripture only refers to the time after Messiah's ascension. Not so. Notice in Daniel 9:21; Gabriel the angel is called a man.

MESSIAH IS ALSO OUR ELDER BROTHER
I don't want to fully elaborate in this subject area since I think everyone agrees. Although, it is necessary to make mention of it in light of the subject. Messiah is the firstborn of all creation; therefore, our elder brother. Let it suffice to say, Isaac - who represented Messiah - married his first cousin Rebecca. However, Rebecca was considered his sister (Reference Genesis 26:7-9). Therefore, Isaac was in turn considered her brother. Messiah represents all the male overseer relationships: our Father, our Brother, and our Husband.

MESSIAH'S BAPTISM
If Messiah is YHWH's Holy Spirit, then why did the Spirit ascend upon Him when He was baptized by John? I don't want to leave anyone with outstanding questions concerning the Holy Spirit. Thus far, it is my hope that you have comprehended that the Holy Spirit is a Spiritual essence of Messiah's body and blood. Although, someone may wonder, what Spirit ascended upon Messiah after His baptism by John.

Matthew 3:13-17 and Mark 1:8-13 paraphrased, Messiah was baptized by John with water. The heaven was opened and the Spirit of YHWH descended upon Him in the form of a dove. Immediately after this event, Messiah was tempted by Satan.

Now, closely review the conversation between John and Messiah. John said (paraphrased), WHAT?! you want ME to baptize YOU? It is I that need to be baptized by YOU, not the reversal. John knew Messiah was the Word manifested in the flesh. Why would He need to receive the Word if He was the Word!? Notice Messiah's response to John. Matthew 3:15 reads, "Permit it now, for thus it is fitting for us to fill all righteousness." Messiah is not above the divine laws. He follows His own laws and thus sets an example for us. This example is the way unto righteousness.

Not only did Messiah set an example for us to follow, but the Spirit of Truth literally ascended upon Him. I do not see any reason why Messiah could not possess a part of His once Spiritual body in the flesh as we, the saints possess it. Based on scriptures I have already quoted, His Spiritual body is the Spirit of Truth; therefore, it is plausible to think Messiah utilized this Spirit of Truth along with the seven additional Spirits to overcome Satan. After Messiah received the Spirit, He immediately was lead away into the wilderness by the Spirit to fast for forty days and nights, then was tempted by Satan.

As a child, Messiah already possessed the Spirit of wisdom (Reference Luke 2:40,52). It is undetermined whether or not Messiah possessed more than the Spirit of wisdom as a child. Although, Acts 10:38 indicates when Messiah was anointed with the Holy Spirit of Truth, He was also anointed with the Spirit of Might. The Spirit of Might supplies power to perform miracles. Acts 10:38 reads, "...Elohim did anoint Yahushua of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for Elohim was with Him."

Immediately after the Holy Spirit ascended upon Messiah in the form of a dove, Messiah was filled with the Holy Spirit. Luke 4:1 reads, "And Yahushua, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the garden and was lead by the Spirit into the wilderness." At this very time in the sequence of the events concerning Messiah, there is strong indication that immediately after the Holy Spirit ascended upon Messiah, the Messiah possessed the full measure of the Spirit and not before. There are no new testament recordings of any miracles performed by Messiah until after He was baptized by John. I personally believe Messiah obtained the full measure of the Spirit upon baptism. The full measure of the Spirit comprises all eight Spirits: truth, love, wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and fear. 1 Corinthians 12:4-12 testifies, there is only one Spirit, but there are many manifestations of that one Spirit. Any and all manifestations are also known as gifts when they are given to the saints.

MESSIAH IS THE LIFE GIVING SPIRIT OF THE FATHER, EL-SHADDAI
Messiah is a life-giving Spirit which is likened to both bread and water. 1 John 1:2 reads, "And the Life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and announce to you that everlasting life which was with the Father and was manifested to us." John referred to Messiah as "the everlasting life". This 'everlasting life' was manifested as Messiah. In John 4:10-14, Messiah said of Himself, "...the water that I give him shall become in him a fountain of everlasting life." John 7:38-39 reads, "...out of His innermost shall flow rivers of living water. (v:39) And this He said concerning the Spirit..." And, in John 6:32-35 reads, "I am the bread of Life." The saints eat of this bread and drink of this water. The saints feed on the Spirit within them that is His Spiritual body essence, the water and the bread.

Messiah was with the Father; He came down from heaven (John 6:31-38) and was manifested inside a mortal body. I believe the Spiritual essence that was implanted inside Mary was His consciousness, the very essence that makes Messiah His own Personage. Therefore, His once Spiritual Body was left with the Father. This Spiritual body remained in existence and was in the hands of the Father to command at will.

After Messiah was in the grave for three days and three nights, the Father - El Shaddai - put Yahushua Messiah back together. For the lack of a better analogy, He put Messiah's Spiritual brain back into His once Spiritual body and commanded it back to life. Yahushua Messiah then again became a coherent, walking, and talking Spirit Personage as He once was.

When Messiah was in the flesh, at times He seemingly referred to the Spirit of Truth as a third entity. At that time, He truly was, "out of His original body" and was in another body - a physical body. But, once He was again in the Spirit, He was able to send the Holy Spirit, His own body, to the saints on the day of Pentecost. Each of the saints receives a different part of His body, but we are all one in Him because He is of one body.

1 Corinthians 6:16-17 reads, (v:16) "What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. (v:17) But he that is joined unto the Master is one spirit."

Romans 12:4-5 reads, (v:4) "For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: (v:5) So we, being many, are one body in Messiah, and every one members one of another."

Because the Spirit is a part of Messiah's body which is used to transform us into new creatures, Messiah is our Spiritual Father. Because of Messiah's death, resurrection, and Spirit within us, we are reconciled to El Shaddai (Reference Romans 5:10, 2 Corinthians 5:18, and Colossians 1:21-22).

BECAUSE OF OUR RECONCILIATION BY MESSIAH, WE ARE ADOPTED SONS OF EL SHADDAI
I realize I have deviated from my main subject, but I can't resist in sharing this with you all. I want to briefly cover the adoption Paul wrote about. I want to be brief since I have much more to say concerning the Spirits.

As I have already elaborated, Abraham represents the Father - El Shaddai, Isaac represents Messiah, and Jacob represents the Spiritual nation of Israel. I am going to stretch your brain and now tell you that Jacob also represents the Father - El Shaddai. This pattern repeats itself within the patriarchs. Jacob represents the Father - El Shaddai, Joseph represents Messiah, and his two sons represent the Israelites. The older son represents the physical nation and the younger son represents the Spiritual nation.

Joseph was given two dreams that reveal Joseph typlified Messiah. (Reference Genesis 37:5-11). Other typlification is: Joseph was sent to Egypt which represents sin. Likewise, Messiah was sent to this world which is full of sin. Joseph's sons were born in Egypt and were half Egyptian. We are born in a typified Egypt called the world and are part Egyptian because of our sins.

When Joseph returned to his father Jacob, Jacob placed a blessing on the two boys. However, the younger son received the firstborn blessing. Likewise, the Spiritual nation of Israel will receive the firstborn blessing instead of the firstborn physical nation. I explain this to you for a specific reason. It was Joseph who was the Father of the two boys. Likewise, Messiah is the father of the two nations of Israel since He was the One who did the actual creating, and is the One that is Spiritually transforming us into His likeness. Moreover, when Jacob blessed Joseph's two sons, Jacob adopted the two boys as if they were directly from himself even though he was their grandfather. This is the analogy of the Father - El Shaddai, the Messiah and the nation of Israel, both the physical and the spiritual. Both the physical and Spiritual nations include the gentiles. (Reference scriptures: Genesis 48, Romans 8:15, Romans 9:3-5, and Galatians 4:5) Jacob adopted his two grandsons which they then became as like his very own. Likewise, the Father - El Shaddai will adopt the saints as His very own sons.

THE SYMBOLOGY OF THE SEVEN SPIRITS
Now, let's return to the symbology of the seven Spirits. As a repeat, the seven Spirits are: love, wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and fear of YHWH. Why are they likened to the seven burning lamps of fire and the seven eyes of the slain Lamb? In offering a fuller understanding of the symbology of the seven Spirits, I personally believe you first needed to know and understand, it is Messiah's body that is El Shaddai's Holy Spirit that dwells within the saints.

Revelation 4:5 reveals the seven lamps of fire are the seven Spirits of Elohim. And, in addition, Revelation 5:6 reveals, the seven eyes on the slain lamb are the seven Spirits of Elohim. These two scriptures are not in conflict.

As I stated early, Romans 1:20 reveals that we can understand the heavenly by knowing and understanding the earthly. The physical is a reflection of the heavenly. In the physical realm, fire provides light and eyes provide the ability to see. Therefore, Spiritual fire provides Spiritual light, and Spiritual eyes provide Spiritual sight. Both seven Spirit analogies accommodate the ability to see within spiritual darkness.

The symbolic slain Lamb in Revelation 5:6 represents Messiah. He possesses all seven Spirits in full measure. (Also reference Revelation 3:1). Because Messiah dwells in us, we have access to all seven of the Spirits in addition to the Spirit of Truth. These Spirits can provide the ability to see within the dark corners of ourselves to weed out sin, and to see within this dark spiritual world we live in. We have the capability to see most, if not all, of Satan's tactics.

John 1:4-5 reads, (v:4) "In Him was life, and the life was the light of men (v:5) And the light shines in darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." Ephesians 5:13-14 paraphrased; Messiah shall shine on us. All is manifested by light. Ephesians 5:8 reads, "For you were once darkness, but now light in the Master. Walk as children of light."

The light is from Messiah. It is not our light that shines, but His, through us. 2 Corinthians 4:6-7 reads, (v:6) "For Elohim, who said, 'let light shine out of darkness,' is the One who has shone in our hearts for the enlightening of the knowledge of the esteem of Elohim in the face of Yahushua Messiah. (v:7) And we have this treasure in earthen vessels [meaning our physical bodies], so that the excellence of the power might be of Elohim, and not of us -" I will paraphrase these two verses. The Mighty One who said, 'let light shine out of darkness,' is the same Mighty One who has shone in our hearts. It is Messiah shining within us. This shining is the enlightened knowledge of Elohim's esteem and it came by the face of Yahushua. In other words, it was Yahushua who brought light into the dark spiritual world, and this light continues to shine through us.

I believe for this reason, the sun and moon were created on the fourth day of creation in Genesis instead of the first day of creation. Messiah is likened to the sun in Malachi 4:2 and in 2 Peter 1:19. And, the moon represents the church (Reference Genesis 37:9-10, Revelation 12:1-5). The Sun is the day star that sheds light on everything in it's path. The moon reflects the Sun's light within the darkness. The saints live within the Spiritual dark world, but reflect the Son's light.

Physical Messiah and His church were created on the fourth day which is in the middle of the seven thousand year plan. One day is like a thousand years to YHWH (Reference: 2 Peter 3:8). Depending on exactly when the sun and moon were created on the fourth day; there is only 2000+ years between Messiah's first coming and Messiah's second coming when He ushers in the millinium - the Spiritual Sabbath rest. As a side note: I believe Messiah will touch-down upon the Mount of Olives on a Friday night, at evening, the beginning of the Sabbath (Reference Zechariah 14:5-8).

You can think of yourself as a walking lamp amongst the world of spiritual darkness. In Matthew 5:14, Messiah said the saints are the light of the world. In verse 16, Messiah told us to shine our lights among men so that they see our good works and praise the Father in the heavens. We, ourselves, don't generate light, but Yahushua within us. We are reflectors of His light. It is Messiah in us doing the good work, creating the transformation.

Eventually, the saints will obtain their own Spiritual light at the resurrection at Messiah's return. Isaiah 60:1 is Messiah's future command to make His saints rise at the last trumpet. We know it is actually Messiah who shouts the command (Reference John 6:40). Isaiah 60:1-3, 8 reads, "Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the esteem of YHWH has risen upon you. (v:2) For look, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness the peoples. But YHWH arises over you, and His esteem is seen in you. (v:3) And the gentiles shall come to your light, and the kings to the brightness of your rising. (v:4) Lift up your eyes all around and see: all of them have gathered, they have come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are supported on the side. (v:5) Then you shall see and be bright, and your heart shall throb and swell, for the wealth of the sea is turned to you, the richness of the gentiles come to you. (v:8) Who are these who fly like a cloud, and like doves to their window?" These are the first resurrected saints who will shine and fly like a dove to their window, the window of heaven.

Each of the Seven Churches Are a Lampstand
According to Revelation 1:20 each of the seven churches represent a lamp stand. We already know the seven Spirits are the seven burning lamps of fire on the lamp stands. Hence, the seven churches possess the seven Spirits through Messiah. According to Revelation 5:6 these seven Spirits of Elohim are sent out into all the earth. In Matthew 28:19, Messiah told his disciples, "...go and make taught ones of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit."

Messiah gives each of the seven Spirits to His body of saints in the measure that will both edify Elohim and perform the work that is desired by the Father - El Shaddai. We can pray to YHWH and ask to use a greater measure of these Spirits. Don't forget, we are the working of Elohim. We are being transformed into new creatures. This is how we shine the light into the world. But, the brightness of our light is in direct relationship to our developmental stage.

The Spirit of Love
In 1 Corinthians 13:1-13 (the whole chapter), Paul explained we can possess the other Spirits of Elohim, but if we do not have the Spirit of love, we become as nothing. Paul believed the greatest of all the Spirits was love. Love is patient, is kind, love does not envy, love does not boast, is not puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not seek its own, is not provoked, reckons not the evil, does not rejoice over the unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth. It covers all, believes all, expects all and endures all.

All of the saints are given the Spirit of Love. Romans 5:5 reads the love of YHWH is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us. Romans 8:35 reads, "Who will separate us from the Love of Messiah?" In other words, who will take the Spirit of Messiah from us? 2 Timothy 1:7 paraphrased, YHWH hath given us the Spirit of power, and of love, and of sound mind.

We need to perfect the Spirit of love because YHWH is love and we are commanded to become like Him. (Reference: 2 Corinthians 13:11, 1 Thessalonians 3:11, 2 Thessalonians 3:5, 1 John 4:6-8) 1 John 2:5 reads, "But whoso keepeth His Word in Him verily is the love of YHWH perfected: hereby know we that we are in him."

How Do We Activate Any Of The Spirits?
Matthew 17:19-21 reads, (v:19) "Then came the disciples to Yahushua apart, and said, 'Why could not we cast him out?' [Referring to a demon] (v:20) And Yahushua said unto them, 'Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, 'Remove hence to yonder place' and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. (v:21) Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting."

I find it interesting, the disciples of Messiah walked with Elohim in the flesh, witnessed Him perform many miracles, and my guess is, they were feeling fairly confident of themselves. Why else would they attempt to cast out a demon? I, and probably others, would liken this confidence to faith. Although, the disciples were unable to cast out the demon. In my carnal mind, I would liken casting out a demon to moving a mountain. But, Messiah added, this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. Perhaps, the disciples posseessed self-confidence, and therein laid the problem.

Based on Messiah's answer to His disciples; "because of your unbelief", it appears we activate the Spirits through faith. Hebrews 11:6 paraphrased, without faith it is impossible to please YHWH. We are able to utilize the power of the Spirits by faith. 1 Thessalonians 5:8 reads, "But let us, who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation." Notice scripture specifically stated breastplate of faith and love. Faith cannot be separated from love. Again, as I stated earlier, faith works through love (Reference Galatians 5:6). In order to possess the fruit of faith, it is my personal belief you need to work on the Spirit of love. I will give you an example: think of someone you began to know and really love. Normally, if you grow in a deep love for someone, you most likely trust them. In other words, you feel comfortable putting your faith forward in that person. It has been from personal experience that when you love someone, you have much more faith in that someone. Therefore, you need to know YHWH, by knowing the scriptures and apply them. Love will begin to grow toward Him along with faith.

Romans 10:5-6 reads righteousness is of faith. And, righteousness is of the law. To explain this mystery of faith in plain terms, you need to keep the commandments of YHWH. John 14:15 reads, "If you love Me, keep my commandments." By keeping the commandments, you show YHWH you love Him. The commandments put love into action: love toward YHWH and toward man. YHWH's love is true and spiritual, not carnal and superficial. By keeping the commandments, the fruit of faith will begin to grow. And then, when we want to activate the Spirits, we pray and fast. This action is the way to petition the Father THROUGH Messiah. By this petition, we take self confidence out of the equation by humbling ourselves before YHWH. And, most definitely, ask only what is within the confounds of YHWH's laws. We may not always receive what we ask for immediately, but be consistent and persevering. The following is a scripture that summarizes this point. James 1:5-6 reads, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (v:6) But let him ask in faith, not waving..." (Also reference Mark 11:22-25)

Some may ask, how do I know YHWH's will because we are to say, "not my will but Your will be done."? Psalms 37:4 reads, "Delight yourself in YHWH, And let Him give you the desires of your heart." Matthew 7:9-11 reads, (v:9) "...what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? (v:10) Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? (v:11) If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?" If you pray for something that will benefit both you and others, YHWH will grant you your request if you keep His commandments (Reference 1 John 3:22).

It's my belief and opinion that we need to pray for the Spirits of knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. If we possessed the Spirit of knowledge, you would know His will. And if you possessed the Spirit of understanding, you would then understand His will. And, if you possessed the Spirit of Wisdom, you would have the wisdom to make the right decisions to move forward; knowing and understanding His will.

Paul specifically prayed for the saints in his time to receive these three Spirits in greater amounts: knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. (Reference Colossians 1:9, Philipians 1:9-10, and Ephesians 1:16-18.) Paul deemed these important for the saints. We, too, should pray for one another to receive these three Spirits in greater amounts. We need these Spirits to arm us against dark spiritual principalities, and many opposing doctrines of truth which include anti-Messiah doctrines. The anti-Messiah/Christ spirit is alive and in force. It is both forthright and in disguise. The anti-Messiah Spirit opposes Messiah Himself or opposes what Messiah said. If we cannot believe what He said, what's the purpose of saying we believe He came and died for us? Don't lose sight, Messiah is the Spirit of Truth. He spoke and currently speaks only truth. When Messiah said, "I am to observe the Passover at your house with My taught ones." - Matthew 26:18, Mark 14:14, and Luke 22:11, we should believe it as like many other similar scriptures. Messiah spoke the TRUTH

!I want to specifically show you two scriptures that are extremely important to know and understand regarding our belief in the events of the new testament. 1 John 4:6 reads, "We are of Elohim - the one knowing Elohim hears us. He who is not of Elohim does not hear us. By this we know the Spirit of Truth and the Spirit of delusion." John was referring to the apostles when he said, "us". The apostles were firsthand eye witnesses to Yahushua Messiah. If we hear the apostles, then we are of the Spirit of Truth. If we do not hear them, then we are of the spirit of delusion. Chapter 53 of Isaiah, the whole chapter, is about Messiah's first coming, and supports this statement. The first verse reads, "Who has believed our report? And to whom was the arm of YHWH revealed?" This very first sentence in this chapter prophesied the apostles report of Messiah in the new testament. The arm of YHWH was and is Yahushua Messiah who sat down at the right hand of YHWH. He was revealed to the apostles. I will again quote Isaiah 53:1. Pay close attention. "Who has believed our report? And to whom was the arm of YHWH revealed?" The apostles were witnesses of Yahushua Messiah and their writings in the new testament are actual reports. We are of the Spirit of Truth if we believe their report. If we do not believe their report, then we have the Spirit of delusion. Those people who do not accept what Messiah said or anything else written in the new testament that the apostles themselves reported, do not possess the Spirit of Truth.

Denying Messiah lived during old testament times is also an anti-Messiah doctrine. Notice carefully what 2 Peter 1:20-21 and 2:1 reads: (1:20) "knowing first, that no prophecy of scripture came to be of one's own interpretation, (1:21) for prophecy never came by the desire of man, but men of Elohim spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit. (2:1) But there also came to be false prophets among the people, as also among you there shall be false teachers, who shall secretly bring in destructive heresies, and deny the Master who brought them..." Now I ask you, what does the word "them" refer back to within the context of this passage of scripture? Again as a repeat, the last part of verse 1 reads, "and deny the Master who brought them...". The subject is about prophecy and false prophets. Messiah did not bring in the false prophets, but rather the prophesies. The prophesies Paul referred to are of the old testament since the new testament did not exist when this letter was written by Peter. The prophesies were brought by the Master, Yahushua Messiah, the Word. And, He gave the prophesies to the prophets through the Holy Spirit, which is an essence of Himself. The Master was alive and was the one who interacted with the prophets of old. I will show you in the last section of my presentation, the Being who revealed the visions to Zechariah was the Master Himself. The one who became Yahushua Messiah.

In Mark 1:20-27, Messiah went into the congregation and taught on the Sabbath, and there sat a man in the congregation having an unclean spirit, a demon. Demons, themselves, can sit among our fellowship groups and organizations putting forth false concepts and ideas that can eventually lead us astray from YHWH and His truth. Mark 1:39 reads, "And He (Messiah) was proclaiming in thier congregations, in all Galil, and casting out demons." Whether there is a demon amongst us or not, Messiah warned there would be chaff among the wheat. Don't think that your fellowship group or church organization is exempt. We need to be on guard and armed with the Spirits of Elohim.

THE SEVEN SPIRITS BEFORE HIS THRONE
ZECHARIAH CHAPTER FOUR - the whole chapter

I want to expound upon Zechariah four because I believe it shows Messiah is the One Spirit that the seven Spirits are manifested from. If you recall, 1 Corinthians 12:4 & 11 read, (v:4) "And there are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit." (v:11) "But One and the same Spirit works all these..."; referring to the primary Spirit manifestations and secondary Spirit manifestations known as gifts. There is only One Spirit and from this One Spirit manifestations emanate.

Zechariah was given a vision. The description of the vision is written in verses 2-3, and 11-12. Within the first part of the vision he saw a lamp stand of gold. On the stand there were seven lamps. (This part of the description is that of the lamp stand that was made for the temple. Reference the construction of the temple lamp-stand: Exodus 25:31-40 and Leviticus 24:2-4). There is also a bowl with one olive branch on the left side and one olive branch on the right side. The two olive branches stream olive oil from themselves into this bowl atop the lamp stand by the means of two gold pipes. Extending from the bowl are seven spouts that empty the oil into the seven lamps on the lamp stand. <For a visual reference: view the illustration titled: VISION on my web site under the section titled 'store'>

In Zechariah 4:4, Zechariah asked, "What are these my Master?", referring to the images he was shown. In verse 5, the Messenger appeared surprised Zechariah did not know. The Messenger responded and said, "Do you not know what these are?" I personally think the Messenger appeared surprised because the Messenger thought it was obvious. Afterward, Zechariah said, "No, my Master".

Before continuing with this story, I want you to notice: each time Zechariah responded to the Messenger, he called Him 'Master'. In 1 Corinthians 8:6, Paul said there is only one Master which is Yahushua Messiah; although, the Father is also referred to as Master YHWH in the old tesament. The Father is the head. There are no messengers (angels) of the Father called or referred to as master except the One who became Messiah. This Being that is speaking to Zechariah is a Messenger and Zechariah called Him Master.

With this understanding, now consider verse 6 and 7. The Messenger responded to Zechariah's question. Verse 6 reads, "This is the Word of YHWH to Zerubbabel, 'not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit' said YHWH of hosts. (v:7) Who are you, great mountain, before Zerubbabel? A plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of 'Favor, favor to it!'"

There are two ways of looking at this scripture. The first way is: the Messenger did not answer Zechariah's question immediately but danced around it. If you look at it from this perspective, you would think the Messenger never fully answered Zechariah's question after you read the remaining chapter. The Messenger never said, "the bowl you saw was such and such." Although He specifically revealed what the seven burning lamps and the two olive branches were. The bowl itself is specifically not mentioned nor is the reason for this vision. Before I show you the second way of looking at verse 6, I want you to fully be aware that the visions Zechariah were given all pertained to the coming Messiah.

Read verses one and two. The messenger awoke Zechariah as from a sleep. It appears during his sleep period, Zechariah was given a vision of Joshua, the high priest in chapter three. When the messenger awoke Zechariah, Zechariah was given a day vision and he saw the lamp stand, the bowl and the two olive trees because the messenger immediately asked, "what do you see?" The two visions of chapter three and four are directly interrelated.

The vision in chapter three reveals the Messiah. The second temple high priest, Joshua, pronounced 'Yahushua' in Hebrew, had the same name as does the Messiah (Reference Zechariah 6:12, 6:10-15, 3:8-9). Jesus is the greek form of Yahushua/Joshua. The events of Joshua in the vision within chapter three were past and future of Messiah. There was a stone placed before Joshua with seven eyes. (The stone is the chief corner stone representative of Yahushua Messiah. He is the Master who has the seven eyes before Him.)

The second vision in chapter four is tied with the vision in chapter three, because the burning lamps also represent the seven eyes that were set before Joshua the high priest. But, within the vision of chapter four, there are two olive trees and a bowl that require explanation. In verse 12, Zechariah asked, "What are these two olive branches which empty golden oil from themselves by means of the two gold pipes?" Again, the Messenger seemed surprised Zechariah did not know. The Messenger answered Zechariah's question in verse 14. Verse 14 reads, "These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Master of all the earth." The two olive trees are two anointed Heavenly Beings and they are standing beside the Master of all the earth. These two olive trees within the vision are actually standing beside a bowl. The bowl is the Master of all the earth. For this revelation, specifically notice verse three again: Verse 3 reads, "And two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at its left." Again, the bowl represents the Master of all the earth.

Let's now take a cursory comparison of chapters three and four of Zechariah. Take notice, the seven burning lamps which are the seven eyes are before the bowl which is Messiah as like the seven eyes on the stone that was placed before Joshua the high priest. In both visions, the seven eyes / seven spirits are before the Master Yahushua Messiah. They are not actually on Him, but have their place before Him. Messiah is the One Spirit that the seven Spirits emanate from.

The following is the vision of Zechariah four explained: There are two Spirit Beings that stand before the Master of all the earth. These two Spirit Beings are likened to olive trees because it is their job to fill the bowl which is Messiah. If you recall, on top of the ark of the covenant there are two cherubim that stand beside the Master. The Master sits or hovers over the mercy seat between the two cherubim. I believe the two olive trees are these two cherubim. They fill the bowl - that is Messiah - with golden olive oil, and the oil flows from this bowl feeding and fueling the seven Spirits. I honestly believe the Father YHWH is also represented in this vision. He is the golden olive oil. I don't want to deviate from my subject; therefore, I will not provide scriptures showing why I believe the oil represents the Father. But, here is one clue: it is for annointing. The Father calls the saints, not Messiah. It is the Father that begins the healing process. Besides, who else would represent the oil which flowed through them all? The Father is the One who fuels the life giving Spirit which is Messiah.

Now I will return to verses 6 and 7 of Zechariah chapter 4. Now that you understand that the bowl represents Messiah, the Master, you can view verses six and seven differently. At first glance, it appeared the Master Messenger danced around Zechariah's question, "What are these my Master?" after he was shown the vision. The Master Messenger did not dance around the question, but immediately answered his question. The answer is actually two fold. Verse 6 reads, "This is the Word of YHWH to Zerubbabel..." We know the Word is and was Yahushua Messiah! The Master Messenger was forthright when answering Zechariah. This Master Messenger who is the Word, showed Zechariah His throne. Again, Revelation 1:4 reads, "...Favor to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is coming, and from the seven Spirits that are before His throne." The throne is Messiah's throne. The book of Revelation is a revelation of Yahushua Messiah - verse 1.

Now I will quote all of verse 6 of Zechariah. It reads, "This is the Word of YHWH to Zerubbabel, 'not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit' said YHWH of hosts." There is a large amount of information contained within this one sentence. Only YHWH can design an answer to a question such as this one. I will give you a cursory summary.

The first temple King Solomon built was by might and power. Example: in 2 Chronicles 7:1, after Solomon prayed and dedicated the temple to YHWH, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering. This was by Might! The second temple was built to usher in the first coming of Messiah. It was built under duress, not by might. Messiah was born into the house of Judah and He was required to be born under the law so He could die in our stead. This second temple foreshadowed the ushering in of the Spirit through Messiah which was poured out on the day of Pentecost after Messiah's ascension. If you read Zechariah chapters 2-4 and 6, you'll see the first High priest of the second temple had the same name as does our Messiah. He was told He was symbolic and was also given a crown. This was the forshadowment.

I will again quote verse 6 of Zechariah 4, but I will take out the middle so you may have a clearer image. It reads as: "This is the Word of YHWH to Zerubbabel by My Spirit' said YHWH of hosts." The Word is Yahushua Messiah and the vision is by His Spirit. This Spirit is also the Father's Spirit because Yahushua is the Father's Word. Here is proof: John 16:14-15 reads, "He shall esteem Me (meaning the Father shall esteem the Messiah), for He shall take of what is Mine and announce it to you. (v:15) All that the Father has is Mine. That is why I said that He takes from what is Mine and announces it to you."

I will attempt to form a comprehensible imagine in your mind using words. Picture the following in your mind. The Father YHWH is sitting on His throne. He speaks. The Word that proceeds forth from His mouth is actually a Spirit. Try and image this Word Spirit as a magnificent bright light. It proceeds forth from the Father's mouth and forms into a man. This Word Spirit was given a personal essence that allows Him to think, speak, hear, and the like. This Word is actually the Father's Word because it came forth from Him. This Word is Holy because it is from the Father and it is truth. However, this Word is also its own Personage because it was given a consciousness essence. This Word then is subdivided into seven other Spirits. These Spirits were not given their own personal consciousness essence. Nevertheless, they exist and were also given names. Since these Spirits came forth from the Word, the Word is in control of them. He possesses them.

CLOSING
Yahushua Messiah is the very Word of His Father. This spoken Word is Truth; thus, the Spirit of Truth. Messiah is that embodiment of His Father's Spirit of Truth. Messiah said of Himself in John 14:6. It reads, "Yahushua saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life..." Yahushua Messiah is the Holy, life-giving Spirit, and power of His Father. In 1 Corinthians 6:14, it reads, Elohim will raise up the saints by His power. However, in John 6:40, Messiah said He will raise up the saints. Messiah is the very embodiment of His Father's power. This is how these two great and mighty Personages are joined as one: through and by the Spirit of Truth which is the power and the way of life for all.

Both Personages are represented in the Name YHWH. The Father is the first Hebrew letter within the Hebrew tetragrammaton known in English as HEY. And, Messiah is the second Hebrew letter HEY within the same name. Each HEY represents "I AM". Thus, The Father is the first "I AM" and the Messiah is the second "I AM" in the name, "I AM that which I AM" in Exodus 3:4. Example: in John 18:1-6, Messiah was in the garden when the company of soldiers from the chief priests and Pharisees came to take Messiah the night of His betrayal. Messiah asked them, "who do you seek?" They answered, "Yahushua of Nazareth." Messiah simply said, "I AM" and the whole company of soldiers drew back and fell to the ground. Now, take notice of exactly how John 14:6 again reads. It reads, "Yahushua saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life..."

Isaiah 2:11 reads, "...YHWH alone shall be exalted in that day..." Take notice, this verse contains the word, 'alone'. "...YHWH alone shall be exalted in that day..." The Personage who will be exalted in the day of YHWH is Messiah. Philip 2:10 reads, "...at the name of Yahushua every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;" This verse clearly shows all of creation will bow to Messiah. He will be exalted as the King of Kings and Master of Masters (Reference Revelation 19:16). Messiah is part of YHWH; therefore, it is correct to say, YHWH alone will be exalted in that day. Messiah's Father, El-Shaddai, will be exalted through Messiah. All that was, that is, and is to come is through Messiah. He is the very conduit to which we use to approach the One on High - El Shaddai. And, it is Messiah who El Shaddai uses to communicate and perform His mighty works through. Messiah is a two way conduit.

Yahushua Messiah only speaks what the Father gives Him to speak because He is His Father's very own Word; His Father's very own utterance. The Word is truth and the saints have this very Spirit of Truth living within them. Most of humanity does not comprehend this concept. Pilate ironically asked Messiah, "What is truth" in John 18:38, not realizing that Messiah was the very manifestation of truth standing before him.

Messiah's Father, El Shaddai, contracted with Him before His physical conception. Luke 22:29 reads, "And I (Messiah) covenant for you, as My Father covenanted for Me a reign." Part of Messiah's covenant/contract from His Father reads: He will inherit both the children of Israel and the gentiles (Reference: Deut 4:20, Deut 32:9, Isaiah 47:6, Psalms 2:6-8). The beginning of this contract fullfillment began at Messiah's conception, not afterward. Messiah lived beforehand in righteousness. He was and is the King of righteousness.

Colossians 1:16 reads, "Because in Him (Messiah) were created all that are in the heavens and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or rulerships or principalities or authorities - all have been created through Him and for Him." According to Ephesians 1:9-10, at the completion of time all who are in Messiah will be gathered together, whether they are in the heavens or on earth. All will be gathered together as one. This is the Father's desire and is His great secret for human destiny.

Yahushua Messiah is our Father. His Spirit dwells within the saints, transforming the saints into new creatures so that they may obtain everlasting life and become His wife. This is represented by the first Adam. While Adam was in a deep sleep, Adam's rib was taken from his side and the rib was transformed into Eve. Likewise, Messiah's Spirit was figuratively taken from His side and given to the saints so to transform each saint into a new creature. Example: In John 19:33-34, Messiah died on the cross. Death is likened to sleep (Reference John 11:11). Right after Messiah fell asleep on the cross, a soldier pierced Messiah's side where both water and blood poured out. The water symbolizes the Spirit and the blood symbolizes life. The saints are given life though His blood and through His Spirit. At the resurrection, the saints, as a whole body will be presented to Messiah as was Eve presented to Adam.

The very Spirit of Messiah within the saints is a mystery unto the world, but this mystery of the true Elohim is revealed to the saints. 2 Corinthians 3:17 plainly and unequivocally identifies what and who the Spirit is for those who have ears to hear. 2 Corinthians 3:17 reads, "Now the Master is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Master is, there is liberty." (As a side note: the Bible translation from the Institute For Scripture Research incorrectly translated this verse. Their version reads, "YHWH is that Spirit". According to the King James and The Interlinear Bible showing the Greek text, reveals the correct translation as: "the Master is that Spirit.")

Paul revealed in 1 Corinthians 12:14-31 that the saints are various members of Messiah's body. All the saints are not necessarily the same body part of Messiah. The human mind has difficulty in understanding this Spiritual reality. How do we know what part of Messiah's body we individually possess? Rather, are we actually given to know or even capable of knowing the answer to this posed question? I personally believe some body parts are self evident while others are not so evident. According to Paul, the saints who possess the Spirit of truth are given one or some of the following: Spirit manifestations, services, or workings. Are these representative of the various body parts of Messiah? The answer appears to be yes. In 1 Corinthians 12:4-13, Paul reveals all these come by only One Spirit. And, Paul allegorically compares gifts, services, and workings to actual body parts. Each saint possesses the Spirit of Truth which leads us into all truth. But, each saint appears to be given additional portions of Messiah's Spirit which varies between the saints.

Through the Spirit of Truth, the saints have access to the other seven main Spirits listed within Isaiah 11:2 by faith and prayer. These seven Spirits exist because they emanate from the Word - the Spirit of Truth. The seven Spirits are: love, wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge, and fear. These Spirits are before the throne of Yahushua Messiah as pictured in Zechariah four. The book of Revelation confirms this. Revelation 1:4 reads, "...Favor to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is coming, and from the seven Spirits that are before His throne." And, Revelation 4:5 reads, "...And seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of Elohim."

According to the tradition of the Jews, the middle lamp on the lampstand represents the Spirit of love. The general Jewish tradition is that this middle lamp was never allowed to go out, while the other six lamps burned only during the night. Contrarily, Flavius Josephus, the historian who wrote the history of the Jews, wrote that three of the lamps were kept burning during the day, while at night the entire seven were lighted. (Biblical references are: Ex 27:20-21, Leviticus 24:1-4).

The Rabbis interpret the perpetual lamp as the symbol of God's presence in Israel; or as representing the spiritual light which went forth from the sanctuary. Also according to the Rabbis, the seven lights may be said to represent the seven planets, which, regarded as the eyes of God, behold everything. The light in the center, which is especially distinguished, would signify the sun, as the chief of the planets.

Interestingly, Jewish tradition retains that the middle light represents the sun, but also represents love. As I already stated, Messiah is likened to the sun in Malachi 4:2 and in 2 Peter 1:19. And, He is the beloved of His Father - El Shaddai. Love appears to be the center of everything; the centrifugal force that everything revolves around. And, Yahushua Messiah is that love. In Romans 8:35-39, Paul was persuaded that nothing can separate us from the love of Elohim which is in Yahushua Messiah our Master.
