August 18 , 2007 Have you ever asked the questions: Why can't people just see the right answers/solutions? Why is it that people just don't get it? I certainly have, primarily from frustration. And, sometimes those questions are actually rhetorical and don't elicit an answer. For example of my statement: the government's solution to law breaking is to make new additional laws that supposedly re-enforce or compound the old laws. (We have so many laws in this country [USA] that many conflict with one another.) The gun laws are a perfect example of this. If someone wants to possess a gun, they will find one. If someone wants to shoot someone else, they will regardless of the mechanics of the gun. If man (in general) won't follow the laws set-forth from Elohim, why do we expect man to follow his own contrived laws? What makes man's laws better than Elohim's laws? (More rhetorical questions.)
One could simply read the bible to discover that Elohim Himself can't force people to follow law. The only way it is possible for people to follow/observe law is this: change the heart.
--Felicia. A. Trecek July 7, 2007 In Deut 8:2- we are told that YHWH humbled the Israelites in the wilderness to prove, to know what was in their hearts and to see whether or not they would keep HIs commandments. One would think that the condition of slavery in Egypt would have been humbling enough. But, obviously not. Pride can exist in people holding lowly positions in life. Additionally, YHWH puts people to the test. We can find ourselves in less than desirable positions in life only because YHWH is testing us to see whether or not we will remain following His Word. It's easy to follow along as long as times are good and things are going our way sort-of-speak. But, when times are tough...??? Job was put to the test. Will we curse YHWH and walk away if times are tough, or will we thank Him for loving us enough to work in our lives - for considering us amongst so many other people? If you find yourself in a tough position in life, ask YHWH to show you the lessons you can learn from the current situation. You can also look within scripture to find someone that perhaps experienced a similar situation to discover what YHWH taught them.
--Felicia. A. Trecek June 23 , 2007 I intended to add to this section of my web site more regularly than I have. There are snippets that arise in my mind more frequently than what is displayed here. Time allowance always seems to be a factor. Nevertheless, it's the Sabbath and I have some time at the moment.
1 Cron 21:1 reads, "And Satan stood up against Israel and moved David to number Israel." King David was a man who was given the Holy Spirit and it written that David was a man after YHWH's heart. So; the question must be asked, how could Satan "move" David to violate the orders of YHWH? Answer: at that very moment in time, King David wasn't very close to YHWH whereas Satan moved into David's mind.
We can become caught-up in the cares of this life and remove our main focus from YHWH. This doesn't mean that we quit believing in YHWH or His commandments. When our mind is pre-occupied with this life (which is easy to do) - making a living etc. - , Satan can begin to have influence on us. We need to have a means to regain our proper focus everyday after dealing with this Satanic way of life - the grind. Perhaps one solution out of several could be this: carry around certain selected scriptures in our pocket that we can read throughout the day. We can read one per day and think about it off and on through-out the day. And, another way to refrain from Satan's influence is to censor what we allow ourselves to look at, read and hear every day. We must guard our minds and hearts from Satan. He is very strong and powerful, much stronger than we are. The only One stronger than Satan is YHWH. So, we need to do our best to arm ourselves with His Word in our minds and hearts.
--Felicia. A. Trecek October 21 , 2006 There is a way of GET and there is a way of RECEIVE. "Get" and "receive" are not the same because they don't accomplish the same result. When someone is trying to GET, they don't always receive what the other person is trying or wants to GIVE. If the getters stop trying to get and merely receive what someone else is attempting or willing to give (being grateful and thankful), they would be filled with what they were trying to get. I will elaborate...
For example: if I am giving a certain amount of my time and love to someone named Susie Q, but Susie Q became angry at me because she thinks I should give more of my time to her than what I can actually afford, her anger blocks out what I am able to give. Susie doesn't receive anything because she merely dwells on what she isn't getting. Hence; whatever I was willing to give, she was rejecting by and through her anger. (This can be true of jealousy, envy and the like.) What I was giving wasn't satisfactory and therefore Susie's attitude creates a negative attitude within me whereas I do not want to give anything more to her. Because of this cycle, Susie Q and others like her create a bigger and bigger emotional deficit for themselves. The bigger the deficit, the more they want to TAKE and GET. Hence, the problem becomes bigger and their emotional needs become greater. Not one single person (like me for example) can fill Susie Q's emotional deficit. But; if she merely received what I was giving, and would do the same with everyone else in her life, she would be filled.
You cannot bite the hand that feeds you. This applies to everyone. WE ALL emotionally feed on one another to one degree or another. This is a mere fact of life. If Susie Q continued to ridicule me or continued making sarcastic remarks about anything and everything positive I put forth, I would not want to "feed" her anymore. Consequently; Susie Q and others like her, are doing themselves a double disservice. They don't receive what they need when given to them, and they cut-off each hand that is willing to emotionally feed them. Consequently, they are unable to be filled.

June 28, 2006 I highly recommend the reading of the book titled: THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING by Norman Vincent Peale, copyright 1952. The book remains in print and can be ordered on Amazon.com. This book is an excellent book. Norman Vincent Peale gives positive ways to change the thinking process and be God centered - bringing every thought into captibity.
